ASA Philippines Foundation and Connected Women have come together to launch the Elevate AIDA (Artificial Intelligence and Data Annotation) Project, a partnership that equips women in underserved communities with digital literacy and AI data annotation training โ opening doors to dignified, home-based work and supplemental income opportunities.
ย
The pilot began in Naga City with 100 ASA Nanays and women family members starting their 20-day training in digital skills and values formation, paving the way for inclusive participation in the growing digital economy.
ย
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement signing at the ASA Philippines Central Office in Taguig City last September 8, 2025. Present were Rapa Lopa, President & CEO, and Imee Centeno, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Transformation Officer of ASA Philippines, together with Agnes A. Gervacio, CEO, and Gina Romero, Founder and Head of Special Projects of Connected Women, joined by Ruth Yu-Owen, Co-Founder of Connected Women, along with their respective teams.
ย
With ASA Philippinesโ nationwide network and Connected Womenโs award-winning model, this initiative will serve as a blueprint to scale inclusive digital work opportunities for thousands of women across the Philippines โ bringing us closer to a future of work where no woman is left behind.
