ASA Philippines Wins LANDBANK Gawad TANYAG Award for Second Consecutive Year

ASA Philippines Foundation has once again been recognized as the Outstanding Microfinance Institution in LANDBANK’s Gawad TANYAG – Gawad PFI Awards 2025, marking the second consecutive year that ASA received this prestigious honor.

The recognition was conferred during LANDBANK’s 62nd Anniversary Celebration, underscoring the invaluable contributions of ASA and its partners in advancing inclusive growth and nation-building.

Representing ASA Philippines at the ceremony were Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia Jr., Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Nilo B. Cellon Jr., Chief Field Operations Officer; Ferdinand U. Jikiri, Chief Administrative and Procurement Officer; and Barbara B. Custodio, Chief Compliance and Security Officer.

This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of every Ka-ASA—from the field to the central office—who remain steadfast in empowering over 2.2 million women across the Philippines and helping families build stronger, more resilient futures.

“We want to go to the places wherein nobody dares to go, and ensure that the people there have access to credit. We are there in times of need—not only for microfinancing but also for other community needs.”
— Nilo B. Cellon Jr., Chief Field Operations Officer

With this milestone, ASA Philippines continues to live by its mission of bringing hope and financial empowerment to women entrepreneurs nationwide.
